Level 2 Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care.
Apprenticeships at level 2 are equivalent to five good GCSE passes.
Learners will achieve a:
- Level 2 QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Level 2 BTEC Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care. (QCF).
- Level 2 certificate in workskills for effective learning and employment (QCF)
- Level 2 award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in health and social care
- Key skills qualifications at level 1 in Maths and English.
Who is it for?
This programme is for care workers employed within the Health and Social Care setting.
Progression Opportunitites
Learners can progress towards a level 3 QCF Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care
Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care.
Advanced Apprenticeships are equivalent to two A level passes.
Learners will achieve:
- Level 3 QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care.

This programme is for senior care workers employed within the Health and Social Care Sectors
Delivery: one to one with assessor support or taught days for groups.
Progression Opportunities
Learners can progress towards the level 5 QCF Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services replaces and combines the level 4 Leadership and Management in Care Services NVQ and level 4 Health and Social Care NVQ
