Traineeships

Traineeships

Thousands of companies, small and large are now getting involved with Traineeships. And there’s a great reason why. Traineeships provide real, measurable business benefits for employers:

  • They bring enthusiastic young people into your organisation allowing you to nurture the next generation and helping your business to develop a loyal, talented workforce.
  • You can be part of designing the experience for the young person: one that suits both the needs of your business and the needs of the trainee.traineeships at dynamictraining UK
  • Your current employees will have the opportunity to build their own mentoring and coaching skills supporting the trainee.
  • Traineeships are a great way to test out the talents of a young person so you can better match their skills to meet the needs of your business. You will have had time to get the young person truly work ready and if you decide to offer a trainee an apprenticeship you could be eligible for an apprenticeship grant for employers of £1,500.
  • All training costs are covered by government funding, including a free job site to post your traineeship opportunities. The fully subsidised training costs could be bringing as much as £4000 of government investment into your business.

The Traineeship programme has been designed to help young people reach a level of competency and performance so that they are a great prospect for you or another company as an employee or Apprentice. Our experienced tutors will support trainees with any English and maths qualifications they may need, as well as employability skills training. With you, they'll be getting work experience that will prepare them to be great employees of the future.

Apprenticeship Funding

Dynamic Training UK have access to apprenticeship funding from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) to support delivery of all apprenticeship programmes. We work closely with employers and funding partners to ensure funding compliance and smooth delivery of government funded work- based qualifications.

Young Apprenticeship training for those aged 16 – 18 years, who have lived in an EU country for a minimum of 3 years and who do not already hold a level 4 qualification or above, is fully funded and there is no employer’s contribution to be made towards the training costs.

Costs of an Apprenticeship programme for apprentices aged 19 and over are partially met by the Skills Funding Agency and we will ask their employers to a make a financial or in-kind contribution. Please contact us for further details.

Apprenticeship Grant for Employers of 16 to 24 year olds (AGE 16 to 24)

The Apprenticeship Grant for Employers of 16 to 24 year olds (AGE 16 to 24) aims to support businesses, who would not otherwise be in a position to so, to recruit individuals aged 16 to 24 into employment though the Apprenticeship programme.

The National Apprenticeship Service will provide AGE 16 to 24 to eligible employers, in respect of qualifying apprentices, with an individual value of £1,500. Employers can be paid ten grants in total during the lifetime of the initiative.

AGE 16 to 24 targets employers with less than 1000 employees, who are new to Apprenticeships or haven’t enrolled a new recruit or existing employee on an Apprenticeship programme in the previous 12 months.

The Workforce Development Fund from the Department of Health and disseminated by Skills for Care is aimed to support employers with the ongoing professional development of staff across the Adult Social Care Sector through vocational qualifications. It replaces what was previously called the Training Strategy Implementation Fund.  For further details on how to access this funding stream please view http://www.skillsforcare.org.uk/wdf/
