FULLY BOOKED! 6hr Session for new staff – Cost £550 for a maximum of 10 people per organisation. 6hr Session - £75 per person. 3hr yearly Update Session for existing staff- Cost £250 Aim: To explore and demonstrate correct Moving and Handling techniques. Objectives:

  1. To identify relevant legislation
  2. To discuss the spine and causes of back pain
  3. To describe the benefits of mobility to service users
  4. To identify the organisation’s moving and handling policy
  5. To undertake and demonstrate safe moving and handling
  6. To discuss communication and moving and handling assessments
