Former apprentice featured in newspaper
Congratulations to our former apprentice Tegan Duncan on her new role at Manor Green School as a fulltime assistant. Tegan got offered this role after completing a Level 2 Health and social care apprenticeship with them last year.
"I really love the job. I always wanted to do something working with people so I did a Health and Social Care qualification in my apprenticeship”. Tegan was supported by Dynamic Training UK and Ways into Work who work together in a partnership to break down barriers into employment through inclusion of people with a disability in the workplace. The project supports people to overcome barriers and gain confidence and skills to reach their full potential.
Tegan worked very hard and we are very proud of her achievements. She has become a real inspiration to those who face barriers to get into employment. Dynamic Training UK continues to support people from all backgrounds to develop themselves and reach their career goals.
Tegan and her fellow apprentice from Royal Berkshire Windsor Maidenhead Apprentices speak from experience on apprenticeships in the video below.
