Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2
The level 2 qualification is aimed at those who support and assist individuals with their physical or emotional care, daily living needs or maintaining their independence. It is extremely relevant for home care assistants, community support assistants, healthcare assistants, and residential or day service assistants.
To achieve the level 2 qualification you need to complete four mandatory units and two optional units. The mandatory units are as follows:
- Communicate with and complete records for individuals
- Support the health and safety of yourself and individuals
- Develop your knowledge and practice
- Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and well-being of individuals.

Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3
The level 3 qualification is aimed at individuals who often work without direct supervision or on their own, perhaps in a user’s own home. To achieve the level 3 qualification you need to complete four mandatory and four optional units. The mandatory units are as follows:
- Promote effective communication for and about individuals
- Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the working environment
- Reflect on and develop your practice.
The fourth core unit, depending on your chosen pathway, is either:
- Promote the well being and protection of children and young people (Children and young people)
Or
- Promote choice, well being and the protection of all individuals (Adults).

Duration: 10 months

Health and Social Care NVQ Level 4
This level 4 programme is aimed at leaders and managers within the Health and Social Care sector and it will give you the opportunity to gain recognition for the management and care competencies you currently use in your job. It will also allow you to develop your skills and knowledge to achieve new competencies to enhance your job performance. In order to complete the programme you must achieve 4 mandatory units and 4 optional units:
- HSC41 Use and develop methods and systems to communicate, record and report (Communication, Level 4, Core)
- HSC42 Contribute to the development and maintenance of health and safe practices in the working environment (Health and Safety, Level 4, Core)
- HSC43 Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others (Personal and Professional Development, Level 4, Core)

HSC Level 4 = £1250 + reg and cert (£120.80) =£1370.80 (excluding VAT)
It is a legal requirement for managers of registered social care services to hold both Level 4 NVQ’s in Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management in the care services or their equivalent.

We offer an instalment plan if requested that consists of:
- 50% fee upon induction (enrolment with the awarding organisation once payment received)
- 25% the following month
