Leadership and Management in the Care Services NVQ Level 4

This level 4 NVQ is aimed at managers, deputies and assistants who hold managerial responsibilities within care services, for both adults and children.

These roles are likely to include some responsibility for the following:

managing activities
managing people and other resources
managing information
managing quality

To complete this NVQ, candidates are required to do 8 units: 4 mandatory units as indicated below and 4 chosen out of 11 optional units. The mandatory units are as follows:

LMCA1	Manage and develop yourself and your workforce within care services
LMCB1	Lead and manage provision of care services that respects, protects and promotes the rights and responsibilities of people
LMCC1	Develop and maintain systems, procedures and practice of care services to manage risks and comply with health and safety requirements
LMCE1	Lead and manage effective communication that promotes positive outcomes for people within care services

Course Fee:

Level 4 = £1250 + reg and cert(£120.80) =£1370.80 (excluding VAT)

It is a legal requirement for managers of registered social care services to hold both Level 4 NVQs in Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management in the care services or their equivalent.

Duration: 12 months

Delivery and Assessment of programme: Through one to one support and assessment with an occupationally competent assessor
