Venue, Date & Completed by

Winchester Guild Hall, 5th Oct 2011, Claire Gardner

What

Health Trainer Celebrations Conference

Why

In partnership with Parkwood Healthcare, Dynamic Training UK Ltd were invited to run a workshop for the South Central Health Trainer Hub about a project we ran on behalf of Slough Borough Council as one of the 10 Advancement Network Prototypes across the country in 2009. The project was partially funded through Progress South Central Life Long Learning Network.

With many partners we developed a continuous professional development pathway for Health trainers accredited by the University of West London at level 4, called the Work Health Trainer.

The pathway focuses on the role of the Health Trainer in promoting workplace health and supporting individuals who have difficulty sustaining work or who are out of work due to ill health.

The Work Health Trainer Project was a great success, please click here to download the evaluation.

Dynamic Training UK has continued to promote the CPD module which following evaluation is now titled 'The Wellbeing for Work Coaching Module' still accredited by the University of West London at Level 4
