Adapting To Learning Via Online Platforms

October 19, 2021 0 Comment

The last year or so, in fact nearly two years, hav been truly challenging for everyone involved in the teaching and learning industry.  From schools that need to care for children of very tiny status up to mid teens – their needs are diverse and acute.  Children respond well to changes but in different stages.   When the pandemic took a grip on our society, schools were charged with providing the curriculum via online sessions.  Some teachers were well versed in this activity and able to adapt – very proactive.  Other were desperately ill equipped and struggled with content and delivery issues.   A crisis is definitely the vehicle for finding out who are progressive and clued up on new technology.  Almost all children know their way around a tablet or mobile phone for social media activity – a few encouraging tweaks and they should be able to emmerse themselves in the new practice of learning via zoom or similar.  The panic has eased but could flare up again at any time so these new skills in delivering and receiving learning skills online may be necessary permanently.
