Dynamic Training UK Apprentices one year on
We are very proud of our apprentices at Dynamic Training UK and like to take a moment to shine a spotlight on one of them as they have successfully completed their qualifications and became valuable member of our permanent team.
One year on, we reflect on their achievements and the learner journey with Dynamic Training UK.
Tanya Nyatsambo, Marketing Apprentice
Tanya has grasped this apprenticeship opportunity with both hands and has quickly developed a good knowledge of all the courses and programmes on offer. Tanya’s self-confidence grew and she was soon asked to take the lead on the promotional events and social media, design of marketing materials, liaise with partner organisations and support clients with recruitment of young apprentices.
Tanya explains why she chose and apprenticeship route: ” I really wanted to work, I like numbers and I like design so I thought marketing would give me a foot in the door to explore and further my skills and abilities in this area without having to go to university. Apprenticeship is a really great way to get into employment and develop yourself. There is also a lot more opportunities now. You can do an apprenticeship in almost anything”. When asked what she particularly enjoyed about being an apprentice Tanya said: “Figuring out how to do things in my own way. I felt this challenged the way I think and encouraged me to be creative”.
Tanya is continuing to make great progress at Dynamic Training UK and within her role as Marketing Assistant.
Alex Pagan, Business Administration Apprentice
Since starting work with Dynamic Training UK, Alex has demonstrated a real keenness to get involved with all aspects of the administrative support. His role evolved throughout apprenticeship programme from general administrative support to a Data and Exams Officer, where specific knowledge of the new starts process and learner enrolments is required. Alex is a team player, always ready to take on new challenges and learn new skills to support the team to become better at what we do. Alex expressed how surprised he was about the fact that apprentice can be very involved in an organisation: “There is this image that the apprentice is basically someone who makes tea and coffee and does basic work. I’ve found that we can play a very important role within the organisation and that’s surprised me”.
Here Alex shares his apprenticeship experience: “It was the best way for me to enter the working world. Doing the apprenticeship I could get the knowledge, the qualifications and the work experience to begin my career. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work as part of a team and also being able to develop myself, I remember when I started my qualification I was a little more nervous but now I’m more confident in this role and my workload quality has improved”
It is great to have Alex as part of our team and we recently promoted him to a full time role within administrative team at Dynamic Training UK.
Apprenticeships are a great way for young people to learn while they earn, gaining fantastic experience, securing valuable qualifications, and preparing them for their future careers. We would encourage other young people thinking about their careers to learn about the vast range of opportunities.
